Link doesn't work anymore. What launched? Sounding rocket? We had a payload launch a couple weeks ago from Wallops.

My local news channel wronged me on this one. On Thursday night there was an story about a launch tonight, and a pic of a launching rocket. No specific date was mentioned. Friday morning no story, so I figured it was Thursday night. Friday night about 10 minutes after the launch the story is back, except just launched is in the text, and they actually gave the date and time of the launch. Darn, because I live about 150 miles from the launch site and the sky was perfect for a viewing last night here in Eastern NC.

Heck, a few years back I saw the space shuttle launch (well, not the actual launch, but the post-launch flying through the sky upwards, you know what I mean) from my front yard and I was like 500 miles from that.

Jumbo, there is a lot of good BBQ in your hood .

Which is your favorite ?

I like the Parker's best in Wilson NC, I had some from Bill Elliot's in Greenville and it was good but still Parkers is my go to Que in NC .

Believe it or not, I actually don't like BBQ, although I hear B's BBQ and Pete Jones Skylight Inn (in Ayden) have the good stuff.

When someone says BBQ around here, they mean pork, which is what I don't like. I'd probably like some midwest/Texas style BBQ beef.
