Philly was better because 16 of the Pats running yards were from Tom Brady scrambling. As I said before the Eagles rushed the football better.

So say a player runs for 80 yards on a single carry but manages just 2.5 for the rest of the game; a total of 25 carries. 140 yards / 25 = a little over 5 and a half which is Bo Jackson-ish. The opposing player rushes 30 times for 120 yards giving him 4 YPC even. You still going to say that the 140 yard back ran a better game because of his average? That's why stats suck, because they are based on averages and become skewed (go look at the Broncos/Bears stats for an example). I'll bet my left nut the 120 yard back was more effective because he posed more of a consistent threat in keeping the defense honest on the ground and consequently opened up the passing game for his offense.

None of that applied in last night's game obviously. Philly knew the only way to beat the Pats was to attack the corners and it was evident by their inability to open holes for Westbrook. I was very impressed with the pass blocking they gave Feely though. For being forced into a one-dimensional offense with a backup QB against the most complete team in the league, they played very, very well and would have won with one less mistake. They just exposed a huge weakness for every other team left on the schedule to exploit.

*sighs*
Total anything is what counts. That's why stats are always tallied primarily on totals. total td's, total catches, total int's, total sacks, total int's, total penalties so on and so forth.

At the end of the day, the winning team is the one with the most points, not the most rushing, not the most passing. Quit trying to make something there is not, the better team this day won, that is it. Next week may be another story, but this week that is it. Yeah and I'm sure the eagles exploited for all the other teams how to beat the pats, if they did that they would have indeed beat the pats. Pats had a bad day and did not play that well and still won. Eagles played a good game even with a sub QB. Pats fans are fans win or loose, seems everyother teams fans just want to hate the fact the pats are on a streak. Was this what happened when the Dolphins did the same thing, lets hate the Dolphins they are winners. Its a game someone is going to win, don't get all pissy when its not your team.

I'm guessing that most of Philadelphia aren't too worried about McNabb healing up quickly

Well it's easy when you have the best RB in football.

This is going nowhere. The end of the season will tell the tale.

Oh, I posted it for you! No comment? well you'll be sure to see it here.

Well as I promised, a few pics for some Philly fans, and for NE fans too!

Before the game:

2 Mins left! what's gonna happen?

Crappy picture, but they still look nice

Final score! Cheers pats!

Commence whining, *****ing, moaning, about how we cheated, or were given the win. Oh, I see you already have!

You lost! It was the Best game you have played All year, and you couldn't do it. Was a good game, kept us standing the whole time!

You were lucky to win. Lucky for that one awful decision (not to mention a bazarro world offsides). We were the better team that night. Tom Brady got out played by a second string QB. We exposed you, there is not a chance of an undefeated season.
