It has started again!

It's wood cutting time. A couple of weekends of
work we won't have to worry about high electric
bills for the entire winter.

I need to start stocking up for winter as well but I have no wood to cut! If anyone near Sonora, CA wants to lose a few trees let me know.

I'm not sure how it is everywhere esle in the US but in NC, if you cut firewood in August, there won't be any bugs in the wood. That's what the old timers told me and it's true. Weird but true.

I use a Stihl too!! Great machine. Easy starting and really chews through the trees (if the chain is sharp).

We got another load cut and split by noon today, a couple more weekends like this and we will be done. I need to clean my chimney at my house and the shop.
