Has anyone added keyless entry ?

My XJ has power locks, but didn't
come with keyless entry. I could
deffinetly live without it, but
would like to install keyless if it's
not going to cost an arm and a leg .
Thanks.

If you want a keyless entry system stay away from that bulldog crap. It works but not well. Go with a quality unit from DEI or UNGO or any other system at a repitaple shop. You get what you pay for. On the XJ its a very easy install as well. A good keyless should cost you in the ball park of 45-60 dollars and you will get much better range and the remotes will last much longer and be easier to get in the case that you lose or brake one.

I'd personally get a DEI alarm with the keyless entry. The one car I put keyless into was through a Viper alarm, and I was very happy with it. My Jeep and this Subaru both came with factory keyless/alarms.

I second what eltj said about Bulldog. From my little experience with them, they are garbage.
