HARDTOP DIFFERENCES: pics

Dont get screwed like I did, know your tops. The pics show the obvious differences but other differences are there as well. Note the door frame on the YJ has a slight slant to it. Click on the link below ....

The link worked for me, but the pictures in the website did not.

Now, I am not sure why the link to the page .. of course I can tell you the differences .. but just to let you know, the CJ7 hardtop and the YJ Hardtop are basically interchangable. The CJ8 and the CJ5 hardtops are very special and not interchangable with any other Jeep SWB model .. and the TJ is in a class all itself - again, not interchangable with other tops.

Can anyone tell me why the YJ and TJ have vents at the back of the hardtop and the CJ model does not?

Dont know why the pics dont work for some guys, and they do for me..huh, anyway...

The CJ has no vent
The YJ has a small vent
The TJ has a different front and a large vent

Plus many more not so obvious features
