Hard Top

Well this is probably a dumb question but I just bought a 86 CJ7 yesterday and it has a hard top. I want to remove the top but the seller had never removed it since he owned it. I figure remove the bolts and good to go but I would rather not screw anything up with my lack of knowledge. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
Mike

yup, that's about it, if it has a rear wiper, you will need to unplug it and with that many years its gonna be a little tight, just get your buddy and lift!!

Remove the bolts along the edges, the sheet metal screws in the windshield frame, and unplug your dome light if it's plugged in. That's it.
