hard question about gps who knows it

Ok, I've been searching all over the web trying to find this seemingly non-existant product.

I have an indash TV/cd/mp3 player from pioneer. It doesn't have GPS installed on it or any reciever.

I want to find a reciever that I can plug into this and display the gps just like all the other systems do. How do I go about doing this without busting my wallet.

thanks guys

peace

unless your deck was designed to have the GPS feature you cant just add it on. if it does then contact pioneer. the will sell you everything you need.

If you have an Aux. input you could install a small computer(say a mac mini) and run a GPS through it. This would not be the cheapest route though, $200 for a GPS $499 for a mac mini, $20-$100 for a power inverter.

not the cheapest but i'm glad to see you know about this and that you offered some help
thanks

I think I may get a handheld gps and just mount it in the car and just run my xbox/dvd player through the tv screen

Glad to be of as little use as possible. I prefer a hand held (so I can take it with me geocaching/hiking). I use the Garmin 60CSx.

Good luck
