Hand made bumpers and carriers- the way to go!

Well, my jeep is down a Jim79cj7's house.
Jim repaired the lower control arm brackets that had been damaged on one canyon trip. He had to cut it off and reinstall it. He boxed in the brackets and put skids on them-
Looking at making a front slider under the front from the bumper to the frame.

He is making a rear bumper and tire carrier to fit the 33 inch spare tire- it will have the Jerry can mount behind the tire, high lift mount, a place for shovel and axe, antenna mount- lighting mounts- a box for tools or what ever and a rack for the ice chest and camping gear!

This guy is awesome- I think he can do this stuff in his sleep.

Picts to follow- may be done Saturday!

careful how you load up the rear end there...

I think you went with an SYE, if you did see if he can set the pinion angle properly by rotating the control arm brackets and spring perches on the axle so the springs sit more straight.

look into stiffer springs or add spacers to make up for the lost height the added weight will cause.
