Guess who has two thumbs, one testicle and no longer has cancer? This guy.

Just got out of surgery to remove my right testicle, due to it having three small tumors in it. Pretty painless as surgery goes and, since I caught it early, chances are I'm cured, although I need to get tested periodically for the next three years to make sure.

But a word of advice guys: fondle your sack once in a while, guys. Check everything, really. Testicular cancer is about 95% curable, but it's still dangerous if you let it go, and there are plenty others that are very curable if caught early, and very dangerous if they aren't. I got lucky, but cancer can up and **** you-keep an eye out.

Also: I found it while beating it. So, not only does masturbation feel great, it can save your life, too.

I like checking the wife for breast cancer, she can return the favor by checking me for ball cancer.

Good to hear you're doing better.....did you put your nut in a jar? It'd be cool to actually follow through with the phrase....I'd give my right nut for that, and see the look on someone's face.

I asked, but they said they need to keep it in order to test it to figure out what class of cancer it was. I'm thinking of trying to get a spare prosthetic as a decoy.

Congrats on finding it before it got out of hand. A friend of mine (21 years old) passes away last May due to Testicular Cancer. His family just had a car was in his memory to raise money for Testicular Cancer, and raised $3500! But he knew he had a few bumps, but didn't tell anyone. Then one day he woke up and his back was killing him... next thing you know, he had terminal cancer, and passed away in his house of Cardiac Arrest right after he got home from his first Chemo session.

Good to here that you caught it in time. Cancer scares the **** out of me. My mom has had breast cancer and colon cancer. When they went into emergency surgery for her colon they found that her colon was the size of a football. They told us that it would have ruptured and she would have passed due to sepsis within a couple of hours if they hadn't gone in when they did. My Dad had a melanoma on his arm. With a family history and the chemicals I work around, I figure I know what I am going to die of.

**** cancer!

I regularly check the smaller half for breast cancer, she regularly checks me for lumps on my junk.

And, we have fun doing it.

She doesn't check the prostate tho - I'll be happy to get that done only once a year... (I keep thinking about having "Exit Only" inked across my bum...)

Congrats on beating teh cancer!

Had the same thing a few years ago. Pretty stressful time.

Glad you caught it.

Really happy for both of you

Must be horrid to go through that, although I guess it makes you appreciate life for what it is.

I have a buddy that sorta had the same problem at like 18 or 20 years old and I would never have know it unless he told me and showed me his scars when I met him in his 30's .

He had cancer and they took one of his nuts and about half of everything else that he had so he said .

He has a very wicked scar from his sternum all the way down .

He is still alive last I knew and is nearly 60 years old .

He had no problems with the ladies excect his wife at the time divorced him because she said she couldn't handle it .

My best wishes and I very am glad you found it earily .

Yeah, if you let it go, or it's really aggressive, it'll spread into your lower lymph nodes, and then they basically have to go in there and gut your lymphatic system. My best friend's school friend had TC when he was 17 or so and had the same thing.

This is the first time I've even mentioned it to anybody except my best friend and my parents, mainly because I didn't want anybody making a big deal over it and getting over all worked up. Honestly, at this stage, it's less dangerous than driving to work, it's only scary because it's called cancer. I'd be in more trouble if I'd had torsion, but nobody cares about that at all since it's not cancer.

I like how you just casually throw it in there that you discovered it by rubbin one out.

And I check myself a few times a day, I play with my balls when I'm bored, surfing the internet, or watching TV.

Self check self check self check.. Often. We had an 18 year old on the ship come to medical with complaints of a hard testicle. When asked how long etc he said several months. Found out he noticed it after boot camp, went to his A and C schools and reported to the ship almost 6-7 months after initial find. He had cancer. With the lapse in care he was loaded with it and last I heard his prognosis was very poor.
Know your body and contact your doctor if something isn't right. He said he never came in sooner since he had no pain. No pain is bad sometimes.

Congrats on your good news.
