Grand Cherokee stuck in lockout mode.

Ok so my wife's 98 grand Cherokee is stuck in lockout mode. I've looked all over and all I can find is lock/unlock the passenger door or rear hatch. Well, she doesn't have a keyhole in any door but the driver door. The Fob doesn't seem to work at all despite putting a new battery in it. Any ideas?

if the alarm is going off, this is what i do:1)lock all doors with a door switch and get out of the zj. 2) use your key to unlock drivers door. that is what works on mine, but some people have to unlock pass door with key.

The alarm is not going off. It was starting for a second then shutting off, now it won't even do that. Before the battery died from trying to much, it wouldn't even turn over, just give a tick, roll the rear passenger window down a little and the dials run to the top, then back down. The electronic door locks won't activate nor the Window controls. And again.... No passenger side lock. Or any lock besides driver
