Got ripped off what should I do?
As many of you already know, I purchased a transmission from a member here(ex member now I think) back in October. Well to make a long story short the transmission never arrived, he claimed it got returned to him because it had fluid in it. Well here it is 10 months later and I never received the transmission or my money back. I filed a complaint with paypal but since he had already taken the money out of the account there was nothing they could do to get my money back. I have called and left numerous messages and sent many emails to his email, facebook, and myspace with no replys. I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do at this point. He owes me $240 and hasn't made any attempt to return my money. I have his work number but I don't know if I should call him at work. I also have his sisters myspace, should I try contacting her? Or is there anyone in PA that wants to pay this guy a visit and get my money back for me?

I don't mean to sound like a jerk but what is he going to do about it?
At this point your best bet would be contacting one of the forum Administrators or one of the Classifieds Moderators.

What will they be able to help me with? I believe the guy has already been banned from the forums. Beyond that I don't think there is much a Mod or Admin can do.

Call the police and let them call him. Had that happen once, called my city police, they called his city's police, they showed up at his door, I got my money. Theft is theft.

Wow really? I didn't think the local PD would really care about a $240 internet transaction.

I looked it up on mapquest, it's a 3 hour drive. Not that big of a town so I'll burn the town down so everyone will have to pay for his thievery. Hope it all works out.
