Federal - 3,700
State - 1,100

It's all staying in a separate account to pay my student loans over the year.

$220.70 FTW!!

I'm trying to decide which fund to put it in:

WJ lift fund
or
After HS graduation road trip fund

Both need money. I don't know if I'll be able to take Jenaveve to my first year of college so I don't know if I want to spend a lot on a lift. Plus I really want a Wrangler.

Any of the suckers loaning the state and federal governments money for nothing care to comment why?

Last year I recieved a $8400.00 refund.
Being a widower is something new for me and takes a little time adjusting.
I did learn later I can still file as Married for an additional 3 years which partialy accounts for the larger than expected refund.

Plus getting a refund makes for a nice liitle vacation since I don't have the best saving habits.

Unfortunately, as a free-lancer, it is nearly impossible to predict her income levels. Some months it's zero, some months it's 5 figures.

I am getting back $6,840, I was so excited because we will be able to pay off the heep and my wifes Cadillac Seville. Then I get a call at work last night, some F250 backed into the front end of the Caddy. He has to pay for it, but it always seems like it is something. The grill was destroyed and the hood was creased a little. Anyway, I will have all my debt payed off accept my house and a small student loan payment. We have no balance on our credit cards. My wife is close to getting her RN, so we are looking to sell the house and get something w/ a little more room. I want a man cave to get away from the kids and wife.

Im getting $5012 by 2/12/2008 per IRS.gov . I had all my forms by Jan 29 and had my taxes done by the 31st

Being a Single divorced parent with custody of my son and going to school helps some.
