Golden Eagle Jeeps? - Page 3

Golden Eagles only came in black and white. Check the rear and make sure its a D44 if not its not a true Golden eagle. It looks like this was just a repaint because EVERYTHING appears the same other than the paint. The center dash piece was painted silver like that in all Eagles for some reason too.

When I first saw this I was thinking Old School GOlden Eagle. A buddy in High School had a J 10 Golden Eagle I think it was a 360 4 speed. It took some abuse.

Yeah to this day my brother makes fun of me cause not only did I get Daisy Dukes Jeep. I know I know hers was the screamin eagle but still... And he says not only did you get her Jeep you got the "pansied up version" refering to it being a TJ instead of a CJ. Still to me a Jeep is a Jeep and I just got the BAD--- version with some Gold Rims and a D44!

Wow! I had read on a few forums and a few websites also that the Eagles only came in white and black. I've never seen one in blue or green before other than the one earlier in the thread. Thanks for the info!

My Dad had a 78 CJ Golden Eagle edition when i was a kid i thought that hood decal was the coolest thing in the world. I tried to find one when I bought my jeep but couldn't find one definitely jealous of you guys.

Try goldeneagledecals.com! They carry the old style. I don't really like the new one that much so I'm glad that the PO decided not to have that put on as a dealer option.

Okay, you guys posted the specs for the new Golden Eagle. Can anyone post what colors and options were in the original CJ Golden Eagle? I know about the chocolate brown, white and dark green - any other colors? I know about the golden rims, but did the original GEs come with anything on the interior?

GE's came in blue for sure, I drove one at the '06 Camp Jeep as a loaner from Jeep. I have a white one with all the badges. Still a work in progress but it's getting there.

GE's were Sports, not X models.
