Funny weekend
Well I headed to Starbucks to get some liquid heroin and as I was coming out, I hear the screaming sounds of sportbikes hitting the rev limiters. I'm a pretty big fan of anything that makes a loud noise and goes fast so I head across the street to investigate. There was a big car show going on, they had all sorts of categories from low riders to vipers so I park in the lot and head in.
About 10 min later I see a bunch of firmen standing around my Jeep. I'm thinking holy @$*&...Jeeps on fire. So I head over to check it out. There was no issues, they were just checking out my jeep. One of them says, "hey you should enter your Jeep in the 4X4 category". I figured what the heck, I'm here anyway. The registration fee was only $5 so I did it. I was baffled... all day long people are stopping and checking out the Jeep, pointing and nodding. (Bear in mind my Jeep isn't that special, it has a moderate lift, some cool things here and there but nothing worthy of 4x4 magazine). I relaxed and walked around all day looking at all of the cars and trucks. Checked out the sportbike tricks, East Coast Stunters (which were making the racket in the first place) and hang out all day. Here is a pic of Kelly Joe doing an endo and putting his back tire on the barrel. (in the background you can see the Starbucks where my journey started)  At the end of the day they call out the results... Low and behold they call my name and I go up to retrieve my prize.  My Jeep placed 3d in show. LMAO! 1st place went to a guy with a pickup on military 5 ton tires. maybe next time I'll wash it!
