Do you really know all these people you put as friends on your facebook page or just want the count to look popular. I don't let just anybody be my friend unless they are.

i usually add all the people i talk to, then add hot chicks don't know so i can look at all there slutty cleavage pics. sometimes random guys add me and i deny them.

I know them all. Even then, I won't friend someone who I just know as a casual acquaintance.
If my friend list grows over 110 or so, I pare it down. I get too much crap if my list is much larger than that. When it was near 300, I couldn't stand it. I went in and removed nearly 2/3s of the people.

Then again, I have a good number of people from the forum that I rarely talk to but know from here. I need to clean up my list though.

I just looked at all my friends, I have had in person conversations with all of my friends except a few jeepforum kids(which I have talked to online) and like 2 other kids that are friends with a bunch of my friends.

I usually keep it to people I either NEED to talk to (some people now are on FB more than their phones), or people I don't want to lose contact with...
But after my birthday I "de-friended" everyone who didn't wish me happy birthday.

Most of my friends on facebook are either friends from high school which was nearly 10 years ago now, whether I talk to them or not it's nice to see where people are in life. And the most of the rest are either from places I have worked or one of the three times I have been in college.

I keep it around 100-200. Most of them I currently know or have known in the past. I usually remove anyone who updates their status more than once or twice in 12 hours.
I have no interest in reading "Just woke up...."making coffee"....."wendys for lunch"...."yay 4pm going home".
Drive me ****ing nuts.

With the exception of a few JeepForum people, I've talked to all of my "friends." I only have 275 friends though.
I don't display my birthday on facebook, I think I need to put in a date that's about 6 months off to see how many people actually know me.

Its nice having alot of friends just so if you have a question about something at school you can get an answer pretty quick
