French Lick or Daniel Boone Jamboree in '06

Went to Camp Jeep for the 3rd time this summer but, am looking to do our first Jeep Jamboree in '06 (closer to home). Just wondering for those who have done both the French Lick and the Daniel Boone Jamborees which they liked the best. Which has more creek crossings, mud, rocks and which is best for a first timer? Probably looking to do a 3 or 4 rated trails for the first time out since the XJ is basicly stock except for mud terrain tires. Any ideas for a newbee?

This isnt in response to the jambos b/c i havent been on either...but in regard to your pick of trails. I dont know the terrain, but trails that i we run under the 3 or 4 rating arent even possible to do with a stock rig. Just a heads up on that.

Jambos (although expensive) are fun.

edit: Oh wait, sorry now that I think of it, the jambo goes up to 10, where as the trails out here go to 5...sorry for the bone head post!

I went to the Daniel Boone one this year. Don't even think about it with a stock rig. There were 2 Liberty's and 1 Grand . They suffered. Even the lowest rated trails were to hard. The trails rated 5 were tough, with lifts and MT/R's. The first day the trail guide rolled his TJ 3 times. So we got a 2 Hour lesson on winching. But the TJ started right up after refilling it with oil. There are some very serious trails there. If you want to try it do a lift and tires and you will be OK. I am doing the French Lick one next month. People I talked to said French Lick is easier then Daniel Boone, but they have the trail ratings at 5-8, so who knows. An easier one thats well done is the Ozark AR. one in Potosi Missouri.
