Free Tax prep Software

I just finished my taxes using TurboTax on the web. I am a State Farm insurance customer and it was free for me. Both Federal and State, preparation and e-file were both included.

Here's how it works.
Go to state farm and create an account.
Register your policy on your new portal page.
Come back after a few hours and you will see your ploicy listed.
click on the free tax link.
e-file

I had already completed but not submitted my taxes when I activated this link. I was surprised, I logged into SF, followed the link, logged into TurboTax and it took me to the filing process w/o any fees.

Good info-------but if you using State Farm for insurance you are probably paying too much for insurance.

Thanks for the info! As a State Farm customer and TurboTax user, I'll definitely be looking into this!
