Free or cheap WSYIWYG website building software recommendations?
I currently use CuteSite Builder but it's still not WYSIWYG enough for me. Too much trial and error formatting and I still haven't figured out how to format a page so it displays properly on various resolution displays.
It needs to have built-in publishing ability too, I don't want to have to deal with uploading changes manually. I have the most basic and simplest of needs for this tool so I don't need the bells & whistles many of you might feel are necessary. Just the basics. Drag & move photos around, format text around them and have the text stay put where I write it. That kind of stuff. ![]()

I haven't tried it, but Amaya might be worth taking for a test drive:
http://www.w3.org/Amaya/ I'm actually downloading it now to see what it's all about. I never knew it existed prior to about 5 minutes ago. ![]() [edit] It looks good, but at a glance it looks to require more 'hands on' than you want. |
