Final Salute

I saw this on another forum and thought it was worth sharing. It's a tough read, you'll see.

I teared up before completing the first page. I just feel so much for those family members. Bless our soldiers, and those who are there to catch the families when they fall...

I cried from the first page to the last. It took me over an hour to read 19 pages, I have read complete books in an hour. 1999WJMIKE, you should read it. Regardless of the name you will be glad you read it.

Reading that was the first time I cried since my grendmothers fuberal a year or so ago.

We hear the numbers in the news on the war casualties and shake our heads. Now when I hear about another brave soldier has died, I'll have a feeling of remorse for the famalies loss and sympathy for the soldiers that will give the respect due to their fallen comrad.
And a deep feeling of thanks for the sacrifice made for our freedom.

That was one of the hardest things I have ever read. God Bless our soldiers and men like Steve Beck for being able to do what they do. They are definitely stronger men than I.
