We had something like this happen where I work a few years back. The news media, FBI, and Coke execs were all involved, because it happened at a Nuke plant.

One guy had his Cokes being ripped off so he got tired of it and drilled a hole in the bottom and filled it with caster oil or some junk like that so that there was a mixture. These guys swipe it and one drinks it and says this tastes funny, of course the other knucklehead tries it as well. One looked at the bottom and saw the screw. He is the type to sue McDonalds because the coffee is too hot, so he calls Coke right away and threatens to sue them.

The big shots at Coke are now involved and the FBI is involved because of a possible poisoning/sabotage at a nuke plant. Finally Coke asks where they got it and they told them out of some vending machine at the site. Coke runs the numbers off the can and tells the guys that they are lying because that lot was shipped out to some small grocery store in some small town not close to the plant.

Idiots actually got off scott free after an admission because they said that they bought it out of the vending machine but put it in the fridge and then grabbed the wrong one. The mastermind behind this thing got time off.

I can find out more details because I sit right next to these guys but it will have to wait because the sue happy guy is out hurt right now because the hardwood flooring company installed the floors in his house and they were too slippery.

I don't think anything more will come of this. It was a big waste of reading time too bad he didn't catch them from his high hide in the car on the lift that night.
