Glad you didn't stick your arm out to try to stop it from tipping. I'd be scared ****less if that ever happened to me though

It doesn't look like they failed, instead I think his front end was lifted because of weight distribution and inertia, making the front brakes useless which allowed gravity to do the rest. If he had lockers, he should have used them. Shoulda coulda woulda, but didn't.

And for TODAYS epic fail I present you with one of the guys in the army with me. Big ego, little brains. He decided that since he made it through width wise he was going to attempt it length wise. His jeep has terrible axle wrap, and his drive shaft came apart. He was smart enough to bring another vehicle for a winch point, but ended up draining his battery trying to winch himself out. Whoever the idiot was that was driving the xterra decided to nose dive it into the mud trying to jump start him, and got stuck as well. Then came a knock on my door. Winched both of them out, and demanded a 6 pack for my efforts. And stupid me ran over my winch control, and snapped the wire. Now I have some splicing to do.

I think it was epic win. The jeep was rusted out and wouldn't pass inspection. Instead of just taking it and having it crushed they took it out and road it hard. They let it jump and run. They let it drive over and smash into lesser vehicles. They let it hear the laughter of people having fun they will remember forever and it knew it was the cause of that fun. That jeep lived the life that all jeeps want to live in service to it's loving owner who had enough respect for it to allow it to go out with a wild party.

That jeep is up there in Jeep heaven surrounded by all of the other jeeps all who are listening intently to his stories of thrill and excitement. All wishing they had been sent to their own death in the same way. I hope when my jeep gets up there it can hold it's own and will have little jeeps listening to it's stories like this jeep does.

There's a song that fits this. I don't remember the title, but the chorus starts with this: "I went skydiving, I went rocky-mountain climbing..."

Fantastic song there by Tim McGraw.
Click Here: for a quick sample. Full printed lyrics Here: for those interested.
It's a song about living with the realization that death is coming.
Good correlation Bob, I like it.

I love how they rolled the Jeep over into the hole. That was a great idea!
