Electric Jeep
Sorry folks, after visiting the Menlo Park location for Tesla Motors, I've been facinated with the EV ideals.
100% torque 100% of the time Imagine being stuck in the mud with 100% of your torque available. I wonder, if the diesel engines that fit into the Jeeps [4BT?] Are instance torque aswell? But anyways I was reading that the original Tesla Roadster was code named Dark Star, and now sells at 110k average. Where as the Whitestar, now Model S [Who just recieved its 1000th reservation] is set at 50k, and the project Bluestar, estimated to be between 20k-30k. Daimler, recently bought 10k of Teslas share for 50 million, and after reading all of this, I wonder whats next? A jeep with an electric engine? Could we get style torque reliability AND good mileage in one? Anyways GD Discuss: Electric Vehicles, Jeeps [duh], the 'Hurricane', Tesla, Ketchup etc ![]()

I don't think Daimler has anything to do with Jeep anymore.

Diamler and Chrysler are not together anymore.
Chrysler has unvieled the ENVI vehicles which are slated for production, one of which is a JK. Initially 2wd, but the platform will support 4wd.
