i have heard pretty bad things about duplicolor in comparison to herculiner. for a jeep roll on is ok....for a truck you definitely want a spray in type.

what is your application?

as long as you do the right prep work and apply multiple coats it should be ok. my buddy did his YJ with herc but didnt put enough coats on and it is chipping in a few spots.

if you go ahead with it you should do a write up and take pics. I'm thinking of using the duplicolor also.

It's kinda brittle if you ask me, I did my rocker guard with it and it chips. The finish does look good thou.

its not any thicker than really cheap paint. we let it dry for 4 days and if you poked it with your fingernail a huge chip would come off. we sanded everything down and scruffed it up a bit and used like 8 coats.

I used it on my Dodge Ram on the lower panels, only because i had fixed some major body damage and I didn't feel like trying to match paint. It worked great as a way to hide minor imperfections from the filler, but if you let it sit to long with the tape on, it will peel off with the tape. It's very thin, but I guess it all depends on what you plan to use it for.
