Dropped My TJ off to get the flares repainted.

Has anyone every let a body shop paint your flares. If so did they fade in a few months.Like real bad.Mine did so i took it in today. They said they had to strip the paint and shoot it again.Their fault.

Nope.

Krylon Fusion works like it was designed specifically for TJ flares.

Are your flares color-matched or are they just black?

Edit: Just saw that they are black...Fusion is the way to go. Quick and cheap, and easy to touch-up when necessary.

Pocket insurance money and rattle-can the flares yourself.

Yikes that doesn't sound good! Well I hope they fix it right this time, and if not, at least it should still be under warranty for them to fix it again... although it's still a pain to have to keep taking to them, and being without your Jeep while they re-do it. My fingers are crossed for you that it's A-OK this time!

the body shop was cool though. He said if you use any thing like armor all or tire foam. You have to use a nuetralizer to get the crap off.Who knows this is there last chance.

Interesting! I didn't know that, but now that you said it, it does make a lot of sense. That's good to know for future reference! When the day comes that my flares need painting, I'll know to take care of that beforehand.
