Perhaps there are secret guns hidden all around the jeep.

Make the wheels a little darker if you know what I mean, and then mount a .50 cal or some other crew served weapon on top. The M240B or M60 would suffice.

For your area, I'd go OD green since it's apparently not the desert. In my area, both tan and OD green would work.

Hey Guys...dont know the size of the mushroom cloud behind the Jeep but it was one heck of a storm leaving damage in the areas it hit. The jeep was painted a flat desert color. I thought about OD green but this was a family project with both of my teenage sons who out voted me on the color...lol.

Sounds like they might be fans of the desert!

I don't see any body armor to sweep the zombies out of the way
and no hard doors to keep them from pulling you out as you wheel through the hordes to get away?

Other than that it's a nice rig.

WHOA WHOA WHOA, What's with the round headlights on you avatar?? Square that up soldier!

**** it, just **** it!

Go all out and get a tube buggy with a Ford Pinto motor. Put bicycle tires on it too. That'll get you through some zombies!

I'm thinking a Doomsday Jeep would be set up like something from the Mad Max series. Maybe a plow in the front similar to a steam locomotive cow plow... Some standoff device on the doors to prevent grabbing occupants or climbing aboard... NOS?

I'm thinking of stuff that would make your Jeep unrealistic in non-doomsday, still-have-to-worry-about-insurance, modern day.

Big guns = big weight = big fuel usage and more broken stuff.
Big guns = big target for those who have bigger guns or better tactics = you dead.

I could see a couple of mounted SAWs though. Pintle mount on a swing-away on the passenger door and a mount up top. Some ammo commonality (minus links) with -4s, -16s, -15s, or Mini-14. Still quite mobile, decent rate of fire for suppression. (Please don't bring up mag use with the SAW...)

Not trying to pile up on you, but besides the paint scheme, what makes it a "Doomsday Jeep"?

My take on the thread is the cloud in the back ground looks like a nuke cloud and its doomsday.Nothing to do with the jeep at all
