Somebody actually sat down and used some brain power to create that funny piece of work. You took that work and posted it under your user name with no credit being given to the original writer. Just because someone on another forum posted it without crediting the original writer does not make it right.

Do you really not see what you did wrong?

It is simple to fix and even simpler to never do again.
Whoa there Netiquette Nazi... it's not like you need the expressed written consent of the NFL to make a thread about something from the intarweb. Sure, it's nice to give credit where it's due but as with most creative things e-popular, anonymity works its way into the story with each forward and carbon copy until its origin is all but uncertain. Besides, it's easy to tell just from the short format that it was copied and pasted.

I've never seen that one before; haven't laughed that hard in a while. Good post!

He does. He's also the guy in the nursery that punches babies when he hears the sound that makes him want to punch babies.

Here is one I found a while ago, and posted on another site that I am a frequent member to:

http://samuraiblog.com/forums/showpost.php?p=22841&postcount=58

I believe I gave credit, if not, suck it.

The only babies that cry around me are the ones that don't like it, most are pretty tolerant to the pain.

Whatever.... I Hope someone steals your jeep since it is posted on the web and all.

Would they have to give him credit for it?

Are you also NEWtoTHEinternetLIF? This isn't English 101. We don't need documentation. Noone cares. It was pretty clear that this was a cut and paste. Look at the format in the OP. I don't think anyone thinks the original poster "stole it" but you.

heres another story. im going to post the site because i didnt feel like editing it so yes there is foul language. but its a long story so you have to scroll down it until you see a map of a triangular building. start reading from a few paragraphs above. you should be able to find the start of it.

What about the Internet makes it different to take someones work and not give them credit for it? I fail to see your point.

I guess not. I just got taught about the ways of the web. I guess if it's posted on the web then you are free to steal it and use it how you see fit.
