Don't Even Wanna Think abt It

So other than beginning the end of the world, speculate how much it would suck and what would happen if Jeep decided to make Wranglers IFS...

Next upgrades: body mounted sliders, engine skid, repaint door handles. (Then I hope I'm finished for a while!)

why speculate? You hoping to start and argument with all the Pro-IFS guys on here?
We all know how hard those guys have been fighting for it.

Everyone knows its a bad idea.. and Jeep won't do it cause they know how many people would scream.

I hope not! But there is that dark shadow of possibility that haunts me. Heck the XJ turning into the Liberty was bad enough for me. Btw sorry if I am offending IFS supporters. Both types of suspension goes towards different driving styles and both have pros and cons. But I'm hard core live axles!

if they Ever did do it.. I'd buy three of whatever the last year of solid axles is.. one to drive.. and two parts vehicles.

Edit: ^^ wow.. my statement sounds vaguely reminiscent of the TJ guys and the bandwagon we all jumped on before the JK came out.

I would bet the 2017 Wrangler will be IFS. Just part of the process of making the wrangler an everyday typical SUV.

Who ever thought they would make 2wd Wrangler Jeeps??

why the hell do people still argue about this crap? just a bunch of teenage bickering, looking to pick a fight. IFS vs. SFA - each system has its advantages and disadvantages. Rock crawling, articulation, drive, etc.... each one is good at something the other one may not be.

Pick the system that you find appropriate for you, and stick wih that. But don't go out bashing the other camp for different priorities.
