Do you have collision insurance on your TJ?
Does the insurance on your TJ cover accidents were you are at fault, IE collision coverage? I was temped to go without it when I bought my TJ because its a 98 and has high miles, but the cost wasn't that much more so I went with it.

We've got full coverage, plus extra to cover our aftermarket parts.

Mine is paid for and only has liability coverage. So if I wreck it and its my fault im screwed. If someone else hits me and they dont have insurance - im probably screwed too, even though they would eventually be responsible for repairs. If they have no money and cant pay, they will have to just go on without a drivers license.

What insurance company is that? Do many insurances offer coverage for offroad usage?

Insurance?
Sissies... A real jeep man doesn't need insurance. (or a drivers license. or roads..)
I keep full coverage on anything with a higher value than I am willing to write a check for (not easily anyway)
The collision/comp is a (relatively) small part of the premium anyway, it's worth keeping.

My TJ is paid for, but that doesn't mean I want to pay for it again
I can't afford NOT to have collision.

Until the TJ is worth less than a year's collision premium I will keep the insurance.
