I think it's an interesting question--especially when you consider the board has over 50,000 members since its incarnation and I don't really recall hardly any minorities, relatively speaking. Lord knows that the General Discussion has its share of topics that are helluva lot more insignificant than this one.
I always remember that Wesley Snipes drove one on New Jack City, and I think it sticks out because that is one of the only times I have ever seen a black guy driving a SWB jeep on a movie or in real life.
Currently an '86 CJ-7 and a '77 CJ-7 Golden Eagle---#4 and 5 following a '01 Sahara, '90 Sahara, and '85 CJ-7....
I saw a black guy driving a tj a few months ago. Seriously,I started to think about it, and I couldn't remember seeing a minority driving a wrangler. Or maybe it's because I notice the jeep and not the driver. He was driving topless with his arm hanging out and gave me one of those "low waves" so I noticed him and waved back. But I have been paying a little more attention since then and it's always a white guy (or girl) behind the wheel.
I'm about 3/4 german and 1/4 indian. I stay away from the firewater, but I loves my beer.

what a ****ing moronic statement to make. apparently in your world, place of birth determines who you are....so the Paki grocers living in England have a kid, he's English, not Paki....yeah!
Or the pregnant American woman that lives in Detroit (but goes across the border into Canada where her sawbuck goes farther), goes into labor prematurely and has the kid in the middle of FutureShop, just gave birth to a Canadian!
Here's a newsflash...you are your blood...being born, and raised in a different country doesn't change your heritage.
