Desert Rats
Has anyone used these guys? (Desert Rat) I bought a set of 4:88's for a Dana 30 in a 2002 tj, they send me a long pinnion shaft (had no idea because anouther company they deal with shipped it) no problem send me the other one (for which they bill me again), at the same time I had ordered a rear carrier, which was also wrong, so after I recieve the new stuff he tells me to send back the old stuff and they will cover shipping and refund, until I do it then he tells me I didn't give a year and model of jeep when I ordered so no shipping refund, (which I did give him), then 2 weeks later I phone to see if they got it back, says he can't find it I give tracking # says he will call back (doesn't). There were several calls inbetween that I was promised a call back and didn't recieve one either. I hate poor service and companies that make you chase them around after they have your money. Also companies that present themselves in magazines as big warehouses when they are really just middle men ordering and sendng it to you. sorry for the rant just thought I should warn others.

Mechanically Declined
|
It's hit or miss with these guys.
I just ordered a set of tires/wheels from them and the rims were crap (wouldn't balance out). That's not entirely the stores fault, but they have been helpful in getting a replacement set of rims and cutting me a deal. I've heard good things about their in house mechanics (they have local shops here in the southwest), but most of the bad things I hear have to do with their online ordering/shipping.
