Desert people

How many of you Jeep guys are also Desert People, I go to Ocatillo wells about ten times throughout the winter I don't really bring the Jeep because I have the quads and sandrail and its hard enough paying for fuel in them.

Does any one else do this? I have seen a few jeeps out there.

Here are a couple of pics of my setup.

I just sold this one.

we go out to superstition and tow our bikes on a trailer with our motorhome. i take my XJ but i have to drive it.
if we wanted we could tow the bikes with the motorhome and the CJ with our suburban and i take my XJ if i want. but we usually only bring one tow vehicle bacause of gas. but i always have both the bike and the jeep

I think the desert on a good weather day is the most relaxing thing.

We're Ocotillo fans but only go from May thru October during riding season. Family of four, we all ride dirt bikes out there. Haven't been Jeepin yet, but am also afraid of thrashin' the CJ, which I will not do.

I thought this was going to be a racist thread about Arabs.

You can have your desert. I'd rather have water, trees, shade, and wildlife.

I might like it if I had the desert to Jeep in. I'm tired of messing with mud, it messes too much up. Of course, if the global warming folks are right, it might be right around the corner!

Desert guy here!!!! Yuma, AZ

Nothing like Jeeping in the Desert between October and June. End of June - beginning of July it sucks and you could die. No joke. Hotter then $hit.
