Picking Ruts Carefully Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: Molōn labe! Posts: 3,494 | I spent Monday and Tuesday at a reduction hunt in Indiana. It was a difficult place to hunt (lots of step hills with lots of trees and ground brush). As close as I got was 150 yards to a deer. My buddy did get a 100 pound buck. I saw guys nearby that got a 180 pound buck. But I still had a good time to walk around in the woods with my muzzleloader. __________________ Red Jeep Club #345 2006 TJ Sport -My Other Woman 2004 KJ Limited -Family Wagon'eer 2009 Civic Coupe 5 Speed -My DD "...to disarm the people - that was the best and most effectual way to enslave them." ~George Mason, 3 Elliot, Debates at 380 |

Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Harrison Michigan Posts: 481 | Just remember part of the management is to thin the heard so the auto insuracne companys pay out less and your policys are suppose to come down. Well there are less deer now and I would rather spend a little more on car insurance and get a deer. HOW MUCH A YEAR DO YOU SPEND ON HUNTING?? More than what the higher policy would be I bet. You think after awhile tourist towns will suffer and the DNR dose not care |
