Come to Illinois, I got one last night..........

Does it count if you use a car instead of a gun?

I spent Monday and Tuesday at a reduction hunt in Indiana. It was a difficult place to hunt (lots of step hills with lots of trees and ground brush). As close as I got was 150 yards to a deer. My buddy did get a 100 pound buck. I saw guys nearby that got a 180 pound buck.

But I still had a good time to walk around in the woods with my muzzleloader.

I shot a 9 point over in Hillman on the 16th.

Our camp normally gets at least one HUGE deer and so far we've yet to see anything bigger than my 9. I think Michigan's deer management as of late sucks.

Just remember part of the management is to thin the heard so the auto insuracne companys pay out less and your policys are suppose to come down. Well there are less deer now and I would rather spend a little more on car insurance and get a deer. HOW MUCH A YEAR DO YOU SPEND ON HUNTING?? More than what the higher policy would be I bet. You think after awhile tourist towns will suffer and the DNR dose not care
