I need to make it out to the "Magic Bus" at some point in my life.

Great trip idea, I hope to do something similar at least once in my life, enjoy Oregon. Good luck, live smart and be safe, but not too safe.

Glad its going good. Everytime I read this thread I think about taking a month off of work to travel. I have the vacation to do it but not the money.

Oh man, if you've got the vacation time, DO IT!
Stay in your tent, tons of backcountry campgrounds are free. I usually go a week camping for free, then pay for one (maybe $15) so I can have a shower and refill my water, maybe do laundry.

You can travel CHEAP, trust me.
