Yeap, had my share of creepy nights. I know my home is haunted, seen him once and heard the ghosts/energy/whatever. The house ghost is a spanish guy by the way--heard 'em talking before. He'll play with the dogs and cats from time to time, I'll see a ball, etc go rolling. Dogs will start waggin' the tails staring at nothing sometimes--not friendly beasties unless you're family or friends. Heard him say Get Up one time waking me out of a dead sleep right before some fool tried to open my front door one night--only time in my life I've been terrified. Fool didn't make it in the house, dogs started going nuts and scared 'em off.

I live in a part of Ga where there was heavy fighting during the civil war so yeap....lots of left over 'energy in matter' around.

Went into an empty of people, full of computers warehouse late last night. Computers all on, most office lights on, green lights everywhere... creepy ****. Needless to say, I felt like I was being watched.

i might have posted this before, but heres my creepy night.
2 years ago i was watching tv with the girlfriend, when we heard a helicopter fly very low, i didnt think anything of it at first. about ten mins. later i hear it approach and hover over my house for a couple of seconds and then leave. i thought it was strange, but fell asleep without a problem.

the next morning i wake up to find all the water from my in ground pool gone.
there was no trace of water in the pool, to drain my pool it would take about 10-15 hours and with trace of where it went. so to this day it freaks me out, and my dog doesnt even go near the pool anymore and he used to love to go for a swim.

i have those nights too. sometimes I'll feel like someones behind me while walkin through my basement at nite (pitch black, I live in the basement) idk too many movies i guess.

And at my friends house we lean this exercise machine up against his wall, it took both of us to move it. It was at such an angle that it could not possibly fall backwards. Well, we find this old old text book from elementary school and in the back was this guys name we both knew that died 3 months earlier. 10 minutes later, That machine we put up falls backwards and almost takes my friend out. It was leaned at a 60 degree angle against his wall WTF

Friday night was a weird one for me. I was sitting here at the computer @ 0230 and heard this loud crash outside. I'd been drinkin so I stagger out and look around a bit just at the end of the driveway. I see this chick in a black jumpsuit or something staggering past me lookin like she just got the make up slapped off her face...so I'm like WTF...walk in the direction from which she came. I smell natural gas really strong and within 2 minutes, a swarm of Police cars come flying in. Soon enough I see a car plowed into a house right on top of the gas meter. I tell the cops about the drunk sloppy chick in the black jump suit and they go get her...I hang out for a while to see whats going down...eventually the FD comes and evacuates the neighborhood. I have to wake the fiance and drag her tired *** to the park across the street. Then we learn there is no ETA on completion of stopping the gas from spewing from the meter. They called the utility co. and a back ho to dig up the front yard to shut off the gas since they didn't want to move the car. We tell them we'll leave and go to a hotel....they say no, can't start my Jeep. So now I'm just pissed. We call a friend 10 miles away and she agrees to come get us. Come to find out, we get to stay at the dude's house she's crashing with...oh and his ex wife and kids were staying there too. Given the situation, the only place we have to sleep is a screened in porch. At 0500 it was about 45 degrees! We load up on blankets...I get 3 hours sleep, chow on some Mcd's, and get to drive home. Holy hell I wanted to strangle someone!

Had one of those kinds of nights, but then someone actually did try breaking into the house. Luckily for him the cops got him before he could have made it through my bedroom window. Still creeps me out a little bit and I will hear things even more now that I live alone.

It's pretty scarry being woken from a dead sleep by your alarm system. Two seperate times the garage at my old house was broken into...weird thing is they waited to liked 5am when i was almost light and we were all up early.

I'm waiting for the creepy nights closing work. I'm actually surprised creepy things don't happen in our building since it's so old.

Bringing back an old thread..

Last saturday night, a buck steps out in front of the car and stops, forcing us to stop (my first thought--wish we were in the Jeep). He was a 10 point buck and big as a barn. Then he shakes his head and calmly continues to the other side of the road.

The freaky thing...dang animal was using a cross walk at 3am.

Not so much creep, as scary...a couple months ago there was a shooting at the entrance to my neighborhood (very new neighborhood at that, with fields around it). I live in a suburb on the edge of Madison, so it was very rare for this sort of thing.

Anyways, a couple nights after that, just as I'm about to fall asleep, my roommate pounds on my door and yells "Get your pistol and get out here!". He has a sliding door from the outside to his room, and he saw some dark-clothed guy creeping around the cars in our apt. parking lot. We got out there in a matter of seconds, me with my pistol, my buddy with his shotgun, on a very windy, rainy night. He sees us and darts through the back yards of the houses across the apt. driveway and disappears.

Holy crap my adrenaline was pumping...scary stuff.
