Comment on this Toyota FJ Cruiser?

Looks like Toyota is setting a goal to compete with Jeep. They call this FJ.... Does anyone think FJ this is a better trail performer than our XJ??

either those guys are doing sychronized dancing, or stacking rocks. Either scenario i say the FJ loses

It's really a shame on Toyota to copy our Jeeps and Hummers...

Well, it seems yet again Toyota has come with that "innovative" styling they are always talking about and there way towards a new future. But it seems the only thing innovative they can think of is how to steal ideas from other car manufacturers.

Other than hybrids they don't really seem to be able to come up with radical new designs. Like it's been stated earlier in the thread, looks like the Hummer H3 and it does. I wish for their sake, in the future they learn to come up with their own ideas.

I wouldn't say Toyota is trying to copy anybody. The FJ's have been around for quite some time, and well so has Toyota. It may be ugly and I sure as hell wouldn't buy it, but give them some credit. The old FJ's were bad ***, and I even like the pickups as well. Just not after 85 when they ditched the SFA. I just don't like their attitude towards the Jeep community. Like these guy's down the street from me. They have some pretty nice Yota's. I tried to tell them I liked what they did w/ their Taco (SFA swap and everything) while I was in my Jeep, and they just acted like asses towards me. Flame on if you want. I don't care. Maybe it's just cause I'm Toyota at heart...their cars though, not 4x4's

This is true they have been around for as long as I can remember, much less as long as my parents remember. I have no problem with their older stuff, it was tastefull and well done, just the newer stuff.
