Haha, yeah ohio state may not have the toughest schedule in the world, but they're not likely to lose this season and I don't see anyone jumping them. If (big if) Bama falls, in my humble opinion, it'll be ohio state and Florida state in the national title game drivers seats. Will make for good controversy if Baylor wins out too.

If bama loses it will still be bama/FSU in the title game and this UGA and SEC fan will be pulling for the best team in football... FSU!

Could the special teams coverage on Tennessee be any worse?

Bama will win the last BSC (Yes, BSc) championship unless something majorly drastic happens to them. Although, I hate Hate HATE the BCS so I'm all for an Ohio St./'Bama Ntl Championship game just to make the BCS look that much worse.

However, IMO it'll wind up being Bama/FSU which might actually end up being a pretty decent game. But I really hope it winds up being OSU/Bama because I don't think either one of those two teams are going to lose before the end and it's the last year for the BCS so lets send it off on a low note. College football fans deserve to see a REAL national championship game, not something that gets picked by a few computers.

Also, Baylor isn't nearly as good as the record shows IMO. They might win the Big12 and go to a BCS game but they are as far from National Championship game material as my Longhorns are. 'Bama would score early and often and completely stifle their offense. Baylor doesn't do well when their QB is pressured which of course is what 'Bama does with gusto. Just my opinion.....

I guess Auburn would rather be lucky than good any day.

My heart sank when Louis got that ball after the deflection. I guess I can be glad we were in it till the end. The first half it appeared Auburn was going to pull away.

the overwhelming question is why didn't the defense just bat it down?? Does GA have a DB coach?

The other DB would have had a clean pick with two hands, it was the trailing guy that just stuck one hand out and tipped it.

why would he want to pick it? it was a 4th and 18 play from deep in Auburn territory. Bat it down and they have the ball in scoring position.

Because most (defensive) college players have huge egos and always want to make every single play about themselves instead of what's best for the team. Knowing how to play situationally takes a back seat to making the highlight reel. Part of that falls on coaching, too.
