Dang.

Georgia squeaked by Tennessee today and took a beating on the offense. I give props to the Vols though. That was the best game they have played in a while. Luckily I won't catch any hell at work on Monday.

Ga took a one spot drop for that almost loss. Had Tennesse not committed one of the last 2 peneties before OT they would of won that game.

Looks like Marshall and Justin Scott-Worley are done. I think Bennett will be done as well. Seems like there are only a couple options; the defense steps up and makes plays and/or the freshmen on offense keep the momentum the injured players had. Hopefully Gurley will be back in the next couple of weeks. I will say, JJ Green looked good and Douglas can get a decent run in here and there.

As for my 'Horns, it ain't lookin good. The O hasn't done anything worth mentioning all year and the D is among (if not the worst) in Texas history...But even the most storied of programs experience stuff like this from time to time.......The bad thing for UT is that the Red River Shootout (Sorry, I'll NEVER call it the Red River Rivalry because that's PC bull crap and it's been the RRS since before I can remember.)

Looks like this year OU is going to give my 'Horns another trouncing, I'm figuring OU can pretty much name the score. All they have to do is run the QB up the gut the entire game and the final will be 66-10. And truth be told I'm in the group of Texas fans that thinks this will be better in the long run for the team than if the Horns were to make it a close game or god forbid even WIN. We need Mack Brown GONE.........

Another prediction.....OU 64-10 over my 'Horns.

I'm a fan through thick and thin, good times and bad...but sometimes you've got to face reality. OU is most likely going to kick the ever loving dog piss out of Texas AGAIN. I hope they put up a good fight and maybe even are able to sneak a win out but I think almost any UT fan out there would agree, their chances are uber-slim to none for that to happen.

The only solace I have in this is that maybe this will ensure a new head coach next season.

HOOK 'EM! \m/

I hope Georgia can get something going against Mizzou. Based on their season thus far they look good on paper. However they haven't played a top tier team. They rolled Vandy last week which was their first SEC game. I think we'll find out if they are for real after today.

Go Dawgs!
