Popped collars are the "Metro Sexual" look, you know, Gay Light, the next step in your comming out is to start wearing womens jeans and trying to tell others just how comfortable they really are. Then we move on to "mani-pedies" tanning beds and makup. You finish it out by the "peanut tuck" where you practice not having balls by tucking the twiggs and berries back 'tween your legs.

Well, frankly, EVERY girl at ASU looks the same after awhile. I dont mind, but still. Not exactly my type. If they offer, I'll accept, but I wont necessarily date them.

Well now I know I'm old. They were wearing collars up back in the 70's (Izod) shirts with the little Alligator.
I thought they looked stupid then, pretty sure they still do.
God, hang around long enough and EVERYTHING repeats.

I read most of this thread and was thinking the very same thing. I guess that makes me old too.
I have a friend that never left the 1970's.

I remember a meeting I attended several years ago. Our new division vice president dropped in wearing a popped collar and we all thought wth? Turns out he was from Joisey and a Guido. Nice guy though once we got past the collar thing BTW his name was Dick something.
