Classifieds

The following two links are using an addon classified software.

http://www.digitalcorvettes.com/corvettes-and-parts-for-sale/
http://www.airforums.com/classifieds/

Do you like that Classifieds setup more than the current setup?

That setup on the airforums definatly makes it easier to browes. Heck, just being able to mark it as sold would be better than our current setup.

I like how the models are divided up on the second one. Kind of useless to divide up by year, but by model would be nice.

go for it keith, our current setup is very confusing and i would have to agree with rusty in the sence that our current setup doesnt even allow members to mark idems sold which in turn causes some confusion.

keep up the posative changes keith, so far so good.

i like the airstream classifieds. the 'vette's is a little excessive but i like them both more than the current.
i know you want to keep all the threads on file just in case. the ability to mark a thread as sold, or move it to another section for sold items, would be nice.

I still prefer how it was prior to the last "update", FWIW.

It still doesn't allow you to sort by location though.

The AirForums one is definitely an improvement to what we have, but I feel that it needs sorting by location and/or filtering by distance. I wouldn't go through the trouble of implementing until a solution is found for the above issues. No sense in wasting admin time when the tool doesn't solve the biggest issue we have.

I fully agree. I guess in prioritization, you should definitely look at the time you would have to dedicate to testing and implementation.
