Classic Trucks.Anybody?

Jusr picked up a 68 c10. Wondering if anybody in jeep land is in to it. Packing a 408 30 over KB pistons 10 - 1 compression just to mention a few. No rust needs some body work paint and gonna drop it a little. That last pic is what I am going for. Anyway just curious

I would love to find something like that only in a 4x4.
That truck looks great. I like the looks of the older trucks. Looks like a great project. Good luck with it.

Great looking truck. I had a 69 C20 as my first vehicle. I bought it as a project but never finished it. In hindsight, it was too far gone for my skills. I wish I had spent more up front and had something that only needed minor body work. But I still have the engine I built for it.

After that truck I bought a 69 Ford F100. I still have it, and it's in decent shape.

first car was a 51 chevy pickup, it would have been fun to keep around and fully restore, but it would have cost a fortune lol.

Got an '83 stepside c10, bought for $1k in jan. Thought it was a hell of a deal at the time. 6 cyl truck, had a 350 swapped in, bored .30 over. Just rebuilt with 0 miles on it and only ran long enough to break in the cam. Clean title, even though my ******* managed to throw it away with all the o'reilly receipts lol. Looks like junk but i was in the market for a project and that craigslist ad just won me over haha.

Did you buy this C10 instead of the CJ-7?

I've bumped the 2 threads where you said you were buying that 454 powered CJ, looking for an update.

Yeah the CJ was not in the cards for me. They delivered the 84 and was not as advertised so I ended up losing 1500 for transport. So I whent another route and I actually whent and seen the c10 and it was as advertised.

Going the other way with the C 10 4 inch and a six inch drop in the back. Getting the 408 put in it and just needs a little body work .going to go with the matte black finish. And that's bout it.
