Cj7 1976 , raising up rear seat?

1976 CJ7 and was thinking about new rear seats and raising them up for more leg room, any suggestions?

I take you don't want to just cut a spacing bracket to mount between the seat's current mounting points and the floor of the jeep to raise the current seats?

Yes that was something that crossed my mind, but was hoping for insight if anybody else had done anything like this.
