CJ-7 Locally..opinions?
Hey everyone..
ok so here is the story so far... Yesterday on my way home from work I noticed recently a "used" Cj-7 for sale in my area. So...as i'm always in the market for ANOTHER jeep... I stopped to get the number and info. When I saw the thing up close...I almost crapped myself. 1986 CJ-7 Renegade Package Copper with Orange stripes Chrome Steelies Looks like a redish vynl interior...VERY clean. Hardtop 4.2L I6 5 speed ORIGINAL EVERYTHING...it looks like it rolled off of the showroom 20 min ago. heres the best part... 18,900 ORIGINAL miles. The guy is asking $8,900 OBO (john if you're on this board )I rechecked the finances and simply don't think I can afford to pick up a CJ as well, even one in that condition...college is expensive... I'm not really sure where to post this...Its not MY for sale add...but this is TOO good to just let go un-noticed by the local Jeepers of my area. SO...If any of you are in the pittsburgh area and looking for a CLEAN CJ...I'd suggest you check this thing out. I only wish I had the money to snag it and put it in storage for a while until college is over. I'll try to snap some pics tomorrow for you guys! ![]()

Borrow the money from family, buy it, and resell it on ebay. You could probably net enough to get yourself cash to but a nice rust free builder..........

Dont really need a builder (have a YJ for that
) But i would love to snag this thing and store it for a project later in life. I'll have to SERIOUSLY check the $$ situation before I get to attached to this one. I just think college is a better investment of my money at this time.... ![]() |
