I can't figure out this seemingly "overnight" fascination with Chuck Norris. About a month ago, out of the blue, my students all came in and started saying all of these stupid, but somehow funny, Chuck Norris jokes.

Those kids started it online and they blew the up overnight!....

Conan started running Walker clips about a year or two ago and I think that rejuvenated the Chuck Norris culture...

I know....but like him or not: he's an enduring character in American culture. Who do we have (us "older" folks!)? John Wayne is gone, Clint is gettin pretty old, Lots of others have gone quietly into the good night....Chuckies ok!
