check out what this H2 guys says about jeeps

i was on street fire, and came across a hummer vs jeep videa, one that i havent seen yet, i mean, ive seen most of the clips, but it was a compolation i havent seen yet, and i read some of the comments, bc i knew there would be a lot of hummer owners bashing jeeps and vise versa, but this guy kinda takes the cake...says he goes down a trail in what, im assuming by other things he says, is a stock H2 and said no jeep could ever make it down the trail...i had to reply...lol...

but heres what he said

Quote:
Well my stock 03 hummer H2 sure as **** takes me offroad when i want so I d on't know where you got the idea that the H1 is the only hummer for offroa ding. That being said yes the H1 is better at certian things due to its gr ound clearance etc but my STOCK H2 goes anywhere the H1's go although i ha ve bottomed out a few times but thats expected. Ive never gotten it stuck in mud or anything. And for you idiots saying by now oh hes prolly on some easy trail no no no lol. Water up to the top of the hood, deep mud, steep hills. The only thing a H2 need to do some off roading in mud is better t ires the stock tires are worthless in my opinion. But you also don't need all off road tires, i run an all terrain tire and like i said ive never go tten stuck or had to be pulled out of anywhere (except for the like 2 time s ive bottomed out) but other than that the trials we go on NO JEEP of any kind could go on not unless they are like in this video and highly modifie d and raised all that BS that ends up making your worthless jeep cost almo st as much as a hummer. Im no hardcore guy that knows every little thing a bout cars and trucks but i know enough to know theres no competition betwe en a stock hummer and stock jeep. and btw trail rated just makes you jeep owners think you can go anywhere(after you put lotta $$ into your little j eep). But other than that the whole gas thing, lmao you dont buy a hummer unless you dont care about gas prices. and no my h2 isnt my ''gangsta'' ri g like some of you idiots call it but its fun to drive offroad does anythi ng you want and everyone wants one and those who dont just could never aff ord one and thats that. nismoskyline@comcast.net if you want to be a *** a nd run your mouth im all to it.
i HATE it when hummer owners are like "the reason they dont have hummers is bc they cant afford one"......what the hell is that about?.......and this guy thinks we need to put so much money into a jeep so that we eventually have enough money in the jeep that it equals the cost of a stock hummer...if you bought a brand new rubi, and put 20k in extras on it, well, i cant even think of a reason to put that much extras on it...lol...that many extras for a jeep, that would be like 10 inch lift, 40 inch boggers, dana 60s, rediculously low gearing, atlas t-case, crazy roll cage, the best skid plate for everything on the jeep, winch, offroad bumpers, tire swing, and with all that, you MIGHT be around the 12k mark-13k mark if you get all top of the line stuff and it would tear up ANYTHING on the trail...lol...

if you want to see what i wrote, just look at the comments on the video, im "06rubicon" on there and its will probably be the last post

heres the video:

....I think the lack of grammar, spelling, and common sense in the comments relating to that video just killed my brain.

Avoid streetfire. You'll be a better person for it.

Like wave at him, like when he's stuck, like begging for you, and like your recovery equipment.

I'd hate to say it, but i gotta agree with him somewhat. I've wheeled with quite a few H2's, and they can hold their own. Stock H2 VS a Stock wrangler, we'll say a TJ, the H2's got it beat. Now a Rubi is a different story, but i don't consider them stock and i dont think that guy does either. H2's got much larger tires, way more power, lockers, more ground clearance, longer wheelbase etc... Wheelin with them ain't pretty though, It's like wheeling a shortbus made out of plastic

Are you serious? You're comparing a 60 grand H2 to an 18 grand TJ X because you don't consider a Rubi "stock" ?

Shocker there, a 60 grand vehicle outperforms an 18 grand vehicle.

For the price of an H2 you can buy two fully loaded Rubicons that'll slap it up one side of the mountain and down the other.

Maybe vs a stock YJ .. maybe. Also a ruby is "stock" just like a H2 is stock.

Engine power - weight = true power that is why an H2 will never have anything on a jeep. Crazyness! Now an H1, there isn't anything I can say bad about one of those. They do the job they were intended to do well.

Who cares.? 99% of all Hummers never see as much as a mud puddle. They might scratch their chrome rims. Biggest poser vehicle in the history of automobiles, regardless of its abilities. Nothing screams " I'm a d%#khead" worse than driving a Hummer.
