it is not cheating... i just prefer being the carpenter, some how i felt it made me more capable when it came to fixing broken wagon wheels and shooting excessive amounts of prairie animals.

Is that Oregon Trail? Memories.

GD kids today have no idea how good they have it.

I've started playing Tetris, Super Mario Bros. and Contra lately.
Cuz nothing beats: up up, down down, left right, left right, B A, B A, Select Start

You betta know it's Oregan Trail.

It's hard for me to use anything other than a D-Pad. Even playing GTA San Andreas, it's hard to use the sticks.

I have you beat. I spent $300 on a Sony PSP, only to crack the firmware to run emulators and play 20+ year old games. I've got just about every NES, decent SNES, decent Sega Genesis and arcade games known to man.... on my PSP.

I'd love to find out more info about that. I haven't looked at the PSP hardware at all, does it have a built in HD? Are you buring them to mini-disc? You can PM me if you want.

Oh and creature, google is your friend. First you need an emulator, then you need the ROM That Apple //e emulator is AppleWin. I don't remember wher I got the ROM, but the file name is "otrail.zip". That should help.

I can keep-up with, if not, beat most people I've played just using the d-pad.

Digital control can be pretty good for a drifting driving style in computer games, of course it's not quite that simple in real life. There's a few of the computer games where I kick butt using keyboard controls... but a USB steering wheel is definitely the way to go.

Power-sliding a Limo is great fun
