Any CB from Midland, Cobra, or Uniden will perform about the same. CB's are regulated by the FCC, so there aren't any major differences. Choose your CB by size, price, and features. Spend your money on a good antenna by Firestik or Wilson. The best CB in the world won't work worth a poop, if you use a cheap antenna.

Im running a Wilson 36" and a peaked and tuned Cobra 29 NWWXST. Dont skimp on the antenna, be sure to tune the antenna to your radio/vehicle.
radio was $140-ish and antenna was 40-ish
Talk to andrew at www.rightchannelradios.com , best service around.

I got one in my jeep and in my tahoe. Fire stick and wilson antennas. I have a wilson which is suppose to be better on my tahoe but I still get alot of interference on it dont know why. Kinda pisses me off so I dont use it as much.
