Calling all Hispanics..and the rest of you guys too

I'm looking for a carne asada marinade. A true traditional one. I've looked on google and have seen some ok ones. Cubans just don't have a recipe for carne asada. Any help would be great!

TIA
Kris

I personally like 1/4 cup olive oil, a few cloves of garlic, pepper, a couple tablespoons of lime juice (fresh for me) and 1-4 jalapenos the longer you let it sit the better. I normally blend it in a salsa maker (mini food procesor) it helps to mix everything together as well. I add it to top sirlon that I trim and slice real thin. My sister uses something like that from her exhusbands grandma I changed it a bit to fit my tastes but it reminds me of the taste you get from the taco shops in San Diego.

When I saw this topic I thought it was going a different direction.
Not to hijack but.....
I just read a financial stat that in the Hispanic culture there has been a lack of setting up retirement accounts which will have an undetermined negative effect on the economy. it was in yahoo finance. Didn't read into it just the title and thought it a bit crazy. I would have thought it would have taken the whole of all the cultures.

That's because Hispanics hide money all over the house, like under the bed, in the bible,...etc. We are still finding money from when my grandmother passed away.
