I went out yesterday evening when I got off work. Saw 4 does about 150 yds out. Nothing close enough to shoot.

Whoever invented the Thermacell is awesome! Hot and humid and bugs all over the place but not one bite from any mosquitos! Best $25 I ever spent!

It works great... there's been a few times when it's a bit windy out that I noticed the skeeters a little but usually the wind will keep the skeeters pinned down.

Awesome!! Wish we had some other big game in DE besides whitetail. I hear there are Sika deer in the area but I've never seen one. I have to supplement my hunting urges with geese, duck, dove and rabbit. I havent' gotten into turkey hunting yet.

My brother was out hunting on the 4th and he shot a doe at dusk. I don't think he hit her as well as he said b/c the blood on the arrow was pretty bright in color and we tracked her for about 3 miles through some pretty rough undergrowth before we lost the trail. Probably single lung or gut shot....

Always tough losing deer, learn from it and press on. I've lost 3 since I started bow hunting, 15 years ago and I'll never forget that horrible feeling however, it comes with the territory as hunters, especially bow hunters. Anymore when I let an arrow fly and it impacts anywhere other than a double lung pass through or good heart I let em sit for at least 4 hours depending on blood color / smell. GO GET EM GUYS!

I got a new bow for the season and wanted to do my first turkey hunt this fall.............. But then I got my apendix out and cant lift, pull, push more then 20lbs for another 5 weeks now. The gobblers are safe till spring, but the trout are not.
