I went and set up another stand over the weekend and saw a few while I was doing that. Unfortunately I'm not going to be able to go out on opening day, I have to wait for the next day . I already got two with my muzzleloader this year though.

But at least my little brother is going out for the first time and since I'm not gonna be there he can use all of my gear. I REALLY hope he gets one, my dad and I have been trying to get him out in the woods with us for years. This year we finally got him to get his hunter education card and go squirrel hunting and after that he decided he wanted to try deer hunting.

The guy I am hunting with came over last night and we were looking at his dad's farm on google maps... I'm PUMPED! But I need to get/make-shift a ground blind very soon... the field I am hunting has a small waterhole and worn down trails to and from... I should only have a 60yds shot to the far side of the waterhole and 60 back to the other side of the field where they come in...

I got a shot at a big doe this past sunday nite, my arrow hit a twig and went under her, but at least I didn't wound her and I got my arrow back.
